If you have a bank or credit card statement in PDF format (text-based, text is selectable when you view the PDF file), and need to extract transactions to avoid data entry, you can use ProperSoft tools to convert PDF files to various formats.

Bank2QBO – Convert PDF to QBO (Web Connect) format ready to import into QuickBooks (PC/Mac/Online). For QuickBooks PC or Mac, QuickBooks must be not older than three years.

Bank2QFX – Convert PDF to QFX (Web Connect) format ready to import into Quicken (PC or Mac). Quicken has to be not older than three years

Bank2OFX – Convert PDF to OFX format ready to import into various personal finance and accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Sage 50, Sage 300, ACCPAC, YNAB, iBank, Wave Accounting, Less Accounting, AccountEdge, and others

Bank2QIF – Convert PDF to QIF format for Quicken for Mac 2007, Quicken 2014 or earlier, Quicken 2017 (Quicken 2015, 2016 for cash accounts, but you cut and paste transactions after into another account), and other software supports QIF import.

Bank2CSV – Convert PDF to CSV/Excel format and extract/liberate transactions from PDF to Excel.
